Howard, 93, and his lovely wife of 73 years, Laura, have a special connection to the song because he sang it to her before he went away to fight in World War II.

Their grandkids say they used to serenade each other with the song all the time, breaking into it at their vow renewal when they celebrated fifty years of marriage.
