According to Yelp, El Paso has some expensive restaurants. I don't like to use the word expensive because I feel it makes people run before checking out what makes a restaurant expensive.

So let us go with fancy.

Sometimes you deserve to treat yourself to a fancy restaurant. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the alcohol can really make a difference in a dining out experience.

I am a cheapskate when it comes to all things food, but I do acknowledge the difference between fine dining and fast food. Ask my Dad and he will say, "You have food at home."

Yeah, but I don't have a $150 tamal at home.

I also don't have $150 to spend all willy nilly, but you could win $10,000 with the Spring Ka-Ching Money Machine code words. You have one more week filled with code words and you just might be the lucky daily winner of $2,000, or the grand prize winner of $10,000.

This fun contest is easy to play when you download the 93.1 KISSFM mobile app, and get all of your friends and family involved. I bring up involving others since you might miss a code word, so it is better to have an extra pair of ears listening up for each one.

Even if you do not win the $10,000, you still deserve to treat yourself every now and then.

So when you get that itch for something fancy, El Paso has multiple choices.

While enjoying a cocktail might be your main focus at 1922, don't sleep on the food. From crab cakes to hot dogs, you just might end up with your new favorite dish.

1700° Steakhouse

A place I still hope to visit one day. 1700° Steakhouse looks so fancy, I feel I do not even have clothes to wear to it. I am not completely sure if they have a dress code, but I feel like it is an unspoken rule.

Entrecôte & Co.

Sometimes fancy food involves some unusual ingredients, like snails. If you want a taste of France and some snails, you can take a trip to Entrecôte & Co.

Park Tavern

Enjoy the El Paso summer weather with some fancy eats at Park Tavern. Their vibe is "American cuisine in a French setting"

West Texas Chophouse

A platter of meat sounds expensive. Especially during this inflation. At West Texas Chophouse you can easily ball out on meat with this fancy platter.

Thirty 5ive Tavern and Grill

This restaurant is usually a place my husband and I visit only on our birthdays or holidays. It is one of our favorite places to feel fancy at.

Cattleman's Steakhouse

Seriously, one of the best restaurant to experience that fancy feeling. Not only is the food good, but the view is beautiful.

Taft Diaz

Some simply dishes turned fancy awaits you at Taft Diaz. Win that money and take everyone out to feel fancy at Taft Diaz.
