There are some places we will try because of how great they display their product. Obviously, we have seen tons of people in El Paso share their tasty meals on local Facebook groups over time.

But people in the borderland not only share their good experiences but also their bad ones too. There is a local joint in the borderland that is a healthy spot to eat at and has a tasty menu overall.

Well, one weekend I had gotten sick and could not hold down anything I ate or drank. So of course, after recovering from what seemed like a bad stomach bug I wanted my first meal of not eating for 24 hours to be a healthy meal that my stomach could tolerate after being sick.

Since I can't exactly leave the station on my lunch break, I had to order through UberEats. I went with a place that is healthy and has a tasty menu that is light on the stomach.

I had ordered a club sandwich which is toasted wheat bread, with chicken breast, avocado, spinach, and Panela cheese. Unfortunately, for me, it sounded and looked scrumptious but was the opposite of that.

I have NEVER seen such an odd chicken sandwich in my life until that day. Let's just say the chicken breast was not really a breast but more like small days old chicken bits more than anything.

If you look at the pictures of my chicken club sandwich you won't seem very satisfied that's for sure. Then there was another local spot I had ordered from that would tick off any customer who loves to eat flautas.

This one spot just put a nickel size chunk of meat in a big flauta as you will see in the pictures above. It was nice to see other people agree with my disappointment when it came to the food that was not satisfying to the eye or tastebuds.

But we have all had bad experiences at restaurants and even our favorite ones too. If you're like me who gives chance after chance, I hope you also keep up the attitude of giving the place another chance to make it up.
