It’s going to take more than a worldwide pandemic to keep Santa Claus from posing for holiday photos with your kids. COVID-19 may have cancelled many holiday traditions, but if you're open to venturing out among the masses, you and the little ones can still visit with Santa.

Mall owners and big box stores in El Paso are going ahead with plans to bring Jolly Ole St. Nick back this year – despite the continued presence of the virus in the community, and the fact that Santa's age, weight, and presumably underlying health conditions put him in the COVID-19 high risk category.

Now, to be fair, they will be taking precautions, such as face masks and social distancing. Want to sit on Santa’s lap or gather around the Big Guy? That’ll get you a ‘No, no, no!’ instead of a ‘Ho, ho, ho!’ So, fear not for Santa.

Besides, if we’ve learned anything from decades of hearing Cheech and Chong’s Christmas-time classic, Santa Claus and His Old Lady, it's that he doesn't have to wait for Big Pharma to roll out a vaccine because he has the magic dust.
