Flu season is here, and with COVID-19 still very much in our community, the City of El Paso is hoping to reduce the number of flu cases that may require hospitalization.

The aim is to keep hospital rooms available for those being treated for COVID and other major illnesses, as well as medical emergencies. And if you’re not aware of how dire the situation with bed availability at all our local hospitals currently is then you haven’t been paying attention.

To make sure as many El Pasoans as possible get vaccinated against the flu, the city is offering free flu shots at numerous locations city-wide. The shots are available on a drive-thru and walk-in basis, and are available to anyone 6 months of age and older.

While appointments are not needed, those taking advantage of the program are asked to print and fill out a patient questionnaire found at THIS LINK first and take it with them. If you don't have access to a printer, the city suggests you let staff know and they will provide you with a questionnaire to fill out on-site.
