One of the most enduring El Paso summer traditions, Viva! El Paso, will return to McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater for a 14 show run this June and July.

The 42nd season of the outdoor extravaganza, which chronicles the 400 year history and cultural evolution of El Paso and the border region, will get underway on June 14 and run every Friday and Saturday night through July 27, 2019. Like last year, the next to last weekend show (July 19-20) will be performed in Spanish.

This year’s production will again feature Tony-Award winning playwright Marty Martin's refreshed script, and while some changes have been made over the last few years, the show's most popular songs and elements from its decades-long past remain in place.

Tickets go on sale on Monday, May 13 at 10 a.m. and will be available for purchase at the Plaza Theatre Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or online at ticketmaster.com.

If you're on a budget or just enjoy a good bargain, you might want to consider buying tickets for the opening weekend of June 14-15. Tickets for those two nights will be $10.
