Monika will be joining the cast of Viva! El Paso for a one-night-only performance this Friday at McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre.

As part of media night, Viva! El Paso has invited yours truly once again to participate in the live performance, including other media personalities including Andrea Chacon and Natassia Paloma from KTSM and Viri Solano of KINT, and Nick Garcia of KFOX14.

I am thoroughly honored to have been asked again to participate in the summer tradition and musical extravaganza of Viva! El Paso at McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre.

Back in 2019, I enjoyed participating in Viva! El Paso, where I played the part of a town’s person and a narrator in part in the show. Check out my last performance below:

I recall that only rehearsed one night and two days later, I was on stage facing a full-house, and as nerve-wracking as it was, it was one of the most memorable moments that I've ever experienced on stage.

So, of course, I couldn’t turn down another opportunity to experience the exhilarating high when stepping back on that impressive stage nestled in the Franklin Mountains.

Viva! El Paso is a colorful musical that brings to life the history of our beautiful city through drama, song, and dance. The cast of 50 performers celebrates the region's four major cultures that have influenced the Sun City, including Native American, Spanish conquistadors, Mexican, and Western American themes.

Viva! El Paso continues through August 7, 2021, with a Spanish performance scheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Tickets are on sale now for Viva El Paso via Ticketmaster.com, the Plaza Theatre Box Office, charge-by-phone at 1800-734-3000, or through vivaelpaso.org.

Ticket prices are $25 (plus tax and fees) and $16 for military (with valid ID)
