Viva! El Paso Holding Tryouts This Weekend at Abraham Chavez Thea

Viva! El Paso will be holding interviews for singers, actors, dancers and technical crew for the upcoming 2019 season.

Open auditions for Viva! El Paso will be taking place this weekend on Saturday, March 9^th at the Abraham Chavez Theatre at 9 a.m. with check-ins beginning at 8 a.m.

Audition Requirements:

Photo ID
Social Security card
Photo ID
A portrait-style headshot
Resume of past performances or production work, including school information and work history
Performers must be 16 years of age or older; children auditioning for Viva Kids (ages 10 to 15) must attend the auditions.
Bring a light snack or sack lunch

Performers will need to be prepared with the following:

Actors - Prepare a 90-second monologue of their choice
Singers - Prepare a song and bring music via sheet music, flash drive or mobile phone - Accompaniment will be provided
Dancers - Wear comfortable or dance clothes and shoes (choreography will be taught at the audition)

Auditions are free and open to performers living in the El Paso area. Performers and technical support crew will be paid a stipend. For more information call 915-637-4029.
