Veteran’s Job Fair Being Held Thursday At Fort Bliss

Yesterday was Veteran’s Day and there were lots of businesses around town that gave out freebies for active duty and former military members. Tomorrow, a local agency wants to help military service men and women find a job.

Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande and the Texas Workforce Commission are holding a job fair Thursday from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Fort Bliss Centennial Conference Center.

Some of the companies who will be present at the job fair include Wells Fargo Bank, Sun Metro, ADP, and Prudential.

Go dressed and ready to interview with employers, and bring copies of your resume if you have one.
