The University of Texas at El Paso will be offering free high school equivalency and testing beginning on Monday, September 18, 2017.

The High School Equivalency Program at UTEP will be offering free GED classes and testing in English and Spanish to seasonal farm workers and their families.

The High School Equivalency Program is an academic program designed to meet the special needs of migrant and seasonal farm workers in pursuit of the High School Equivalency Certificate. The intent of the program is to assist these students in preparation and successful completion of HEC exams. The High School Equivalency Program provides assistance for placement in universities, colleges, junior colleges, and vocational institutions, military services, other post-secondary activities or career positions and is funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Classes will begin on Monday, September 18, 2017 located at 500 W. University, Graham Hall 206.
