The University of Texas at El Paso is currently accepting applications for their free GED classes and testing for agricultural workers and their immediate families.

Once again, seasonal farmworkers along with their families can take advantage of this free GED program at UTEP so they can acquire their High School Equivalency Program both in English and Spanish.

The High School Equivalency Program an academic program provided free of cost and is designed to meet the special needs of migrant and seasonal farmworkers in pursuit of the High School Equivalency Certificate. The objective of the program is to assist these students in the preparation and successful completion of the exams. Another advantage is that this high school equivalency program provides assistance for placement in universities, colleges, junior colleges, and vocational institutions, military services, including career positions that are funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
