The University of El Paso will be offering free GED classes and testing beginning on Monday, July 10, 2017.

This is a great opportunity for seasonal farm workers ad their families to get their High School Equivalency Program /GED at UTEP.

The High School Equivalency Program is an academic program designed to meet the special needs of migrant and seasonal farm workers in pursuit of the High School Equivalency Certificate. The objective of the program is to assist these students in preparation and successful completion of HEC exams. HEP provides assistance for placement in universities, colleges, junior colleges, and vocational institutions, military services, other post-secondary activities or career positions and is funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

For those interested, classes will begin on Monday, July 10, 2017.
