The University of Texas at El Paso will not hold summer long-term classes this coming Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

UTEP will be closing on Friday to observe the 4th of July holiday however, final exams for Summer I will continue as scheduled. Key campus offices, including University Communications, will remain open with reduced staffs.

Classes and regular operating hours for all campus office will resume Monday, July 6, 2015.

UTEP’s Centennial Museum and Chihuahuan Gardens will open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and be closed Saturday, July 4, 2015.

The Lhakhang Cultural Exhibit will be open to the public Sunday, July 5, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The UTEP Library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Regular hours of operation will resume Sunday, July 5. While the UTEP Bookstore will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, resuming regular hours on Monday.
