As a lifelong resident of the Northeast, I always feel like it is constantly being overlooked when it comes to restaurants.

Of course, El Paso is full of some amazing restaurants; but somehow the Northeast has gotten a bad reputation and well, people just avoid it all together. I won't lie, I'm kind of okay with that because sometimes the places I love are not packed.

But I feel like I owe it to the owners, because each restaurant I'm about to recommend to you is El Paso owned. Here are 6 restaurants in the Northeast that you should really be supporting.

Los Rancheritos

Located at 9109 Dyer St. suite V, Los Rancheritos is one of the newer restaurants in Northeast El Paso. Their original location had burned down, luckily, they were able to move to a different location and continue making tasty food. That's great news to us because I cannot recommend their food, especially their caldo de res enough!

Known for putting a twist on some El Paso favorites, like a brisket cheeseburger, Chase the Taste is leaving their mark in the hearts of El Paso foodies
