Streetcar Extends El Paso Strong Ride Campaign Through October

The El Paso Streetcar will continue to accept donations for the El Paso Strong Campaign through the month of October.

The El Paso Strong Campaign began back in early September where fees were waived in lieu of donations made to the streetcar fare boxes and now that campaign is being extended through the month of October.

According to the City of El Paso, the El Paso Strong Campaign will take the collected donations and plans on collaborating with public and private organizations to develop a permanent memorial that honors the victims and survivors of the tragedy that occurred on August 3, 2019.

If you haven’t downloaded the free Streetcar App, it is available for any android or I-phone device which allows passengers to track the streetcars proximity to your exact location in real-time.

The El Paso Strong Streetcar Campaign is a great incentive for our community especially with so many events that take place in downtown El Paso and even sometimes simultaneously. The community is invited to hop on board the El Paso Streetcar and check out any of the events including concerts, shopping, the public library, eateries, nightlife and much more throughout the month of October and donate towards a great cause.
