Congratulations to the El Paso resident who won $5 million dollars last week in the Texas Lottery!

According to the Texas Lottery Commission, Juana P. Ruiz, of El Paso, claimed a second-tier Mega Millions prize valued at $5 million. The winning ticket was for the drawing held on June 10, 2016. Ruiz’s ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (34-61-66-67-68), but not the Mega Ball number (7). The ticket was purchased at the Circle K Store, located at 1798 George Dieter, in El Paso.

While Juana P. Ruiz has requested minimum publicity but we couldn’t be happier for her and her family!

Mega Millions is played by picking five different numbers from one to 75 and one number from one to 15. To win the Mega Millions jackpot, players must match all six numbers drawn including the Mega Ball. Players matching fewer numbers may not win the jackpot, but still walk away big winners. By choosing the Megaplier for $1 more per play, players can multiply their non-jackpot winnings by two, three, four or five times, winning as much as $5 million.
