The Socorro Independent School District announced it will continue to offer breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years and younger through the end of the month.

Because summer can mean food insecurity for many families, SISD will keep its free meal service program up and running at 17 of its campuses through June 25. Meals will be provided on Mondays and Thursdays via the drive-through/walk-up service that is currently being used, according to a distict news release. Mondays meals for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays will be provided and meals for Thursday and Friday will be distributed on Thursdays.
