"So you said you are a what? You said you are racist?", a Black student can be heard asking his teacher in a Pflugerville, Texas classroom.  "I did, I did," the teacher responds. "Yeah, I’m trying to be honest with you."

Seriously?

This one had my jaw dropped. I mean, we are aware that people that have these types of beliefs are out there, and many of them mind their business and keep their mouths shut, right?  Not all of them, it turns out, like this teacher from Bohls Middle School in Pflugerville.

The conversation he had with the students may have gone further than he wanted it to go, and as is the norm these days, someone was filming the encounter. As you can see in the video below, one of the boys said he was going to call his father and tell him to post it, and that he did.

Word Of Mouth Goes A Long Way On Social Media

The child's father, @808mafiaboss, a beat maker and rapper, definitely took to Instagram sharing the video on his page with his 1.5 million followers along with a post of his frustration and anger.

After learning about the conversation his son and classmates had with their teacher, he wrote, "This hurts my heart to see this I'm so angry...I will stand up for my child and the other Black and Spanish kings and queens in this video."

"He needs to be fired immediately," one person commented in response to the post. "Thank God for creating cell-phone cameras" another one said. The video has since gone viral and caught the attention of Tariq Nasheed, an American film producer who posted on Twitter:

"I actually respected you for a while, but like now, I really ain’t got no more respect for you," one of the boys said.

"You should have more respect, because I’m honest,"  the teacher said in response. Earlier in the video, the teacher, whose name was not made publics, can be heard saying, "I think everybody thinks that and they’re just not honest about it."

Oh boy, what a statement to make for everybody. This teacher sounded like he had some things to get off of his chest that day.

What Happened to the Teacher?

The teacher from this video has been placed on administrative leave. According to    The Austin American Statesman, Bohls Middle School Principal, Sharon Churchin, along with Pflugerville School Superintendent, Douglas Killian, says the district was notified and made aware of the "inappropriate comments" made. "This does not align with our core beliefs as a district," they said in a news release. "The video of the conversation includes statements that we find wholly inappropriate...this type of interaction will not be tolerated in PfISD schools."
