The casting department of any major entertainment project is honestly so pivotal to the success of the project. Movies, TV shows, even commercials have a casting crew that works to find the right people for each project.

For movies and TV, this is an especially important role as the cast of any film or show could raise a project up or bring it crashing down! Emily is clearly no scrub when it comes to the casting department. Widow's Bay was a wonderfully awkward horror comedy show that was only made better by the cast who played their roles so well.

The casting department works to not only deliver the directors vision of the kind of actor they want telling the story of the film. Casting focuses on finding exactly what the Directors vision for the story is by hiring all the right people for the roles. People like Emily Buntyn are doing everything it takes to find the right people including sending out casting calls, doing auditions, lining up schedules, and even going through the casting process to make contracts or get actors what they also need to feel like the role is right.

Emily Buntyn has been working behind the scenes for years and has done casting for SO MANY incredible projects.

From iconic shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David to powerhouse pop culture movies like The Barbie Movie, Emily has been a part of some major moments of Hollywood history!

Emily Buntyn deserves her flowers for the Emmy but also for all the work she's doing being another exceptional El Pasoan!
