Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society Leading Wednesday Night Kid-Friendly Downtown Ghost Tours
Don’t let having kids keep you from getting to know the haunted side of Downtown El Paso.
If you've always wanted to go on one of the Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society's signature ghost tours but lack of child care options prevented you from doing so, now is your chance.
Every Wednesday night in the month of October, Ghosts915 is leading a Family Night Ghost Tour -- a two hour walking tour designed for families with young children.
According to Henry Flores, Head Ghost Buster in Charge (not an official title), the kid-friendly tours are intended to thrill and educate the little ones not keep them up at night.
Flores says prospective paranormal investigators and their moms and dads will learn about some of Downtown El Paso's historic locations and their reported hauntings and ghostly sightings, including the strange happenings at the Wigwam Museum, the paranormal group's headquarters.
But it's not all Casper the Friendly Ghost stuff either. For example, an active EVP session will be conducted in the museum. An active session entails a digital voice recorder and the investigator asking questions to the spirit world, in hopes of receiving a response. Some of the most common responses are knocking, banging, tapping, or whispers.
The walk will also take you inside the Camino Real Hotel where Ghosts915 will show audio and visual evidence they've caught on tape during previous investigations.
