After no winners claimed the last two lottery drawings, the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots grow to over $1.5 billion.

In the coming week, we will all get another chance to become a multi-millionaire, as the Texas Lottery jackpots swell to over a billion dollars after no winners claimed the last jackpots.

Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot stands at 850 million dollars, while the Powerball jackpot rolls out an estimated $730 million on Wednesday night, for a combined amount of over 1.5 billion dollars.

The last El Pasoan that became a multi-millionaire was Martha L. Cuellar, who won $94 million in the Mega Millions jackpot back in 2006. And most recently, another El Pasoan, Sergio Gonzalez Salcido, won $1 million thanks to one lucky scratch-off ticket.

Mega Millions: $850 Million

It’s exciting to daydream about winning the lottery. It takes only one ticket to win any lottery, and right now is probably the most exciting time to play (responsibly).

Good Luck!
