‘Movies on the Lawn’ at UTEP Ends Friday with Free Showing of ‘Ready Player One’

Movies on the Lawn is wrapping up its 2018 summer season this weekend.

UTEP's popular outdoor family-friendly film series will conclude with a showing of Ready One Player this Friday, July 20. The science fiction adventure film based on the bestseller of the same name, and produced and directed by Steven Spielberg will be screened for free on an 18-foot inflatable screen set up in the university's beautiful Centennial Plaza lawn.

And you don’t have to be a UTEP student to attend; Movies on the Lawn is free and open to the public.

What to Know Before You Go

• Showtime approximately 8:30 p.m., depending on sundown
• Lawn chairs and blankets permitted
• You can bring your own snacks, but no alcohol or glass containers
• Pets are not allowed
• $5 Combo (Popcorn, soda, hot dog) and other concessions available

Parking

Free parking is available in the UTEP Sun Bowl Parking garage.
