UTEP Welcomes Back Movies On The Lawn This Friday

Movies On The Lawn at UTEP is back this Friday with a special screening of Trolls World Tour, and everyone's invited!

UTEP’s free summer movie series, Movies On The Lawn, kicks off its returns this year with a free screening of the 2020 animated film, Trolls World Tour, featuring the voices of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, James Corden, Kelly Clarkson, George Clinton, and Mary J. Blige.

Trolls World Tour is the second installment in the franchise and sequel to the computer-animated musical comedy film Trolls (2016). The second film follows two trolls who discover that more troll tribes exist, representing new music genres unknown to their own. However, things take a turn when the Queen of the Rock tribe plans to unite the trolls under rock music and end other foreign music genres.

Families are encouraged to plan their night out by packing a picnic with blankets and lawn chairs to comfortably enjoy the evening’s festive atmosphere and a movie outdoors on the lawn of the Centennial Plaza at UTEP this Friday, June 4, 2019.

Not only is the movie free to watch, so is parking at the UTEP Sun Bowl Garage, and complimentary snacks will be made available to the first 100 guests.
