Movies in the Canyon Returns - Here's This Season's Lineup

Movies in the Canyon returns to the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre Friday, August 19, 2016.

Right around dusk every Friday and Saturday through October 1 (approximately 8:30 p.m. this time of year, 7:30 p.m. in the fall), a blockbuster movie will be shown on a giant state-of-the-art movie screen set up on the stage of the amphitheater.

All the flicks are family friendly, most are relatively current and, best of all, they’re free to see. Popcorn, soft drinks and other snacks will be available at the concession stand for a few bucks.

You will not be allowed to bring your own food or drinks. However, a blanket or light jacket, especially when it cools off in the canyon beginning late August, is encouraged.
