Movies in the Canyon Movie Lineup Changes for This Weekend

The Movies in the Canyon was rained out and cancelled last weekend and now the movie lineup has changed for this weekend.

Due to last Saturday’s inclement weather, the showing of Despicable Me had to be canceled. Organizers have switched movies around to accommodate the popularity of Despicable Me. Therefore, this Friday, September 25, Movies in the Canyon will screen Despicable Me instead of the previously scheduled movie, Dumb and Dumber To.

Movies in the Canyon will continue every Friday and Saturday night through October 3, 2015 at McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater and are presented on a giant state-of-the-art movie screen. Movies begin at dusk which is usually around 8 p.m.

Movie-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or light jacket in case it cools off in the canyon. Concessions will be selling popcorn, soft drinks, and snacks. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the amphitheater or plaza. Closed captioning is also provided.
