The El Paso Art Association is seeking artists, musicians, and performers for its upcoming live online virtual exhibition.

“WHAT’S GOING ON” Relevant Art: A Virtual Exhibition and Concert event will be taking place virtually on Saturday, August 29th beginning at 6 p.m. with a special performance of What’s Going On by Marvin Gaye performed live by local musician, Brandon Bailey Johnson.

Art has the ability to console, enlighten, challenge, and inspire others and allows for self-expression, creativity, reflection, and action during otherwise turbulent times for many.

The El Paso Art Association is seeking artists, photographers, musicians, poets, performers, to submit any works that reflect the sign of our times including the impact of COVID-19, Black Lives Matter, and the EPStrong Tragedy.

This unique presentation will be conducted via a live online art, video, performance, and music event that will explore the many issues facing our current society during these unprecedented times through artistic expression.

The deadline for submittal is Monday – August 17, 2020 – Seeking art, photography, music, spoken word, dance, and performance.
