El Paso Streetcar Finds Success With Fun Family Weekend Tours
The El Paso Streetcar has succeeded with various tours giving El Pasoans a fun experience while discovering something new.
Last year, the El Paso Streetcar began offering different tours to attract riders while providing historical, live entertainment, read and rides, and ghost tours.
The ghost tours, in particular, have been the most popular, selling out in minutes thanks to the folks at Ghosts 915 and their in-depth spine-chilling tours.
Another fan favorite is the Trolley Tracks tour showcasing local talent in partnership with the El Paso International Music Foundation.
Trolley Tracks takes place on the last Saturday of each month, where passengers are serenaded by local top talent onboard streetcar #1511.
The revival of the El Paso Streetcar has been somewhat bumpy, especially during the pandemic but now these fun programming tours and the free fare all add up to a fun family outing that El Paosans are embracing,
But you don't have to wait for any of these tours to enjoy the smooth ride because the trolley is also practical when attending events downtown such as a Chihuahuas game, Fiesta de Las Luces, or meeting up with friends for dinner and strolling San Jacinto Plaza without the hassle of finding parking.
To make it easier to find where the El Paso Streetcar is traveling, download the free app Ride Sun Metro click on My Streetcar and see where the streetcar is traveling in real-time.
Keep an eye out for the next Trolley Tracks tour, which returns July 29, featuring Paola Munoz of El Paso's Pro-Musica, and much more, so stay tuned.
