Latin American Diva Paquita La Del Barrio Performing at the Don Haskins Center

Paquita la del Barrio who is known for her female empowering lyrics will be performing at the Don Haskins Center in May.

The Mexican singer, actress, model and Grammy nominated singer, Paquita la del Barrio began her career in the early ‘70s, penning and singing songs that take a stand against Mexico’s machismo male culture. Her popularity rose immediately especially with female audiences.

She will be joined on stage by Maribel Guardia, former Miss Costa Rica and an actress on multiple Mexican telenovelas.
