So many of us every-day citizens are looking for ways to get involved with our local politics, because sometimes politics on the national scale feels like it doesn't really apply to us on the real life level. Well this week, you have an opportunity to make your voice heard and try to make some real change with the way El Paso County spends its money!

“Last Call! Final In-Person Meetings are Last Chance for Community to Provide Input on El Paso County’s Multiyear Capital Plan

El Paso, TX — El Paso County invites the community to participate in its last set of in-person meetings to voice their thoughts on the County’s forthcoming Multiyear Capital Plan. These sessions, which will be held until April 3, 2024, aim to gauge the public’s perspective on the level of investment the county should undertake over the next five years. Details for each meeting, including a virtual option to receive information, can be found on the El Paso County website: capital.epcounty.c.

“This initiative is driven by the community, and we’re seeking extensive public input through these meetings to gather diverse perspectives,” said County Chief Administrator Betsy Keller. “Our objective is to compile this input for presentation to the County Bond Advisory Committee, with the aim of returning to the community with proposed projects in May.”
