You know I'm all about the news. I love to follow the news, I love to let people know what's going on because not everyone gets to surf the web all day and follow the news the way I do, and I love to let people know what goes on behind the scenes of a news room. It's really important for the public to know how a media outlet works and why certain stories are reported when others aren't. That's why I gotta tell you about the bonehead move KFOX made on their Facebook page.

I was scrolling down my Facebook feed when I ran across a video that was posted on the KFOX Facebook page. I won't post the video, but here is the link to their Facebook page if you like that kind of thing. The video is from a police dashcam and it showed a guy being wrestled to the ground by officers who are trying to keep him from strangling two pit bull puppies. Unfortunately, the video begins playing as soon as it scrolls into your view, and the sight of a puppy being lifted off his feet and flung to the ground is almost immediately filling your eyes.

Seriously KFOX?

I know the whole 'if it bleeds, it leads' mentality of a newsroom, but this is sickening. There is no reason for you to put this video up on Facebook without either warning people about it or putting a link to the video so people have the option of watching it or not.

Get it together, KFOX.
