The best part of my job here at KISS FM is being able to give back to the community, and tonight, I get to do that when I host 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes'.

'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' is held across the world on October 16th.  It is an international men's march to stop rape, sexual assault, and gender violence.  It's a fundraiser to help local rape crisis and domestic violence services.  This year, Independance House, a facility that helps victims of family violence transition to self-sufficiency, will benefit from the funds raised.  The reasons for 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' are serious to be sure, but the YWCA has figured out a way to bring attention to those subjects and raise money in a fun way!

There will be a lot of high profile guys strapping on some serious red heels to raise money, and let us laugh at them(!) tonight!  KVIA Sports Director Paul Cicala will be one of the men walking around Union Plaza starting at 5:30, then an afterparty and Sexy Legs contest at The Garden immediately after the guys get back.  This is a picture of my KLAQ co-workers Duke Keith, Buzz Adams, and Mando "The Monster" Medina, from last year's calendar.

Join me and the YWCA for 'Walk A Mile In Her Shoes' and help us raise money for a very good cause - and laugh like crazy at guys in high heels!
