It's State Fair Season and along with all that fun comes food. (Mostly fried and not exactly healthy.) Which fair, Texas, New Mexico or Arizona; offers the weirdest menu item?

I recently found out about something weird being served at the New Mexico State Fair and that got me wondering what odd offerings the Arizona and Texas state fairs might have. Looks like they're all trying to "out-weird" each other here; let's see who wins.

I found the weirdest things being served at each state fair and, wow ... they each have some "interesting" things on the menu. We've all heard jokes about the crazy things pregnant women crave, right? Ditto for stoners and extremely hungry peeps.

These things sound like they were created by someone experiencing all 3 of those situations at the same time. (Needless to say, if you're pregnant, just stick to weird 'n hungry ok? No drugs.)

Here are the finalists for each state fair, starting at home here in Texas and working west. You be the judge:

Texas State Fair: September 27th - October 20th

In Texas, if it can be eaten, it can be deep fried. Drinks too like, oh, a shot of Fireball. (Seriously.) Sticking to food, how's a Creole Etouffee Beignet sound? WTH is that, you ask?

Fox26 says it's: "onions, bell peppers, and celery. The etouffee sauce is mixed with shrimp, smoked sausage, and steamed rice. Dipped in beignet batter and fried until golden brown, to be topped with powdered sugar."

New Mexico State Fair: September 5th - 15th

The winner here, (for me anyway), is a breakfast/dinner combo thingy called the Belgian waffle green chili cheeseburger. A grilled, all beef patty on a Belgian waffle, covered in green chili maple syrup with powdered sugar.

Check out what else they're selling here.

Arizona State Fair: September 20th - October 27th

Arizonians are chowing down on Hot Cheetos Cheesy Pickle Pizza. A white slice, (whatever that is), with pickles and some uber Hot Cheetos spice. However, where Az really went for the gold was with something served at the Arizona State Fair over a decade ago.

Fried scorpions on a skewer and mealworm burgers. Yes, burgers made from mealworms. Umm ... thanks but; no thanks Arizona. Really.

Nasty, disgusting food sold in NJ that people actually eat

From dairy to fish and even meats, these are just some of the foods sold in New Jersey markets that, for whatever reason, people actually eat.
