Local bands and business owners are teaming up Saturday and Sunday to raise money for the victims of the fires and flooding in Ruidoso.

B-17 Bombers Oyster Pub, 201 S. El Paso Street, (directions), is hosting the event Saturday, July 13th starting at 4pm and Sunday, July 14th, everything starts at 1pm.

In exchange for your donation, you'll enjoy an afternoon/evening of live music, raffle prizes, great food, great drinks and more, downtown, across from the Hotel Paso Del Norte.

There will be prize raffles taking place throughout the event as well as food and drink specials. A $5 donation gets you in and raffle tickets will be 2 for $5. Saturday, the festivities begin at 4pm:

Sunday, everything starts at 1pm:

2 fires burned over 30,000 acres and destroyed well over 1,000 structures in and around Ruidoso. The loss of forest area contributed to intense flooding and mud slides throughout the area. Several people were killed and many are still missing.

Cash donations are, of course, accepted but the people affected by the fires and subsequent flooding can also use other necessities like bottled water, canned food items, pet food, blankets, clothing, etc.
