The most visited spot in Texas has lots going for it. It has great historical importance, it's a beautiful site, it's easily accessible and it was the turning point in something huge.

The Alamo, pretty much the birthplace of the Texas Revolution, is number 1. Visiting this shrine to Texas independence is practically mandatory for Texans and peeps show up from all over the world to see and "remember the Alamo".

Of the top 10, I've been to about half of 'em ... Big Bend National Park, the Alamo, the River Walk and the Johnson Space Center.

I got official paper from the moon there. Basically a lunar receipt from some gizmo NASA left up there transmitting data about ... something.

I don't really remember what the hell it was about or what it meant, it was just a bunch of squiggly lines that looked kind of like a seismograph reading.

I don't think it's there anymore since computers do everything now. It was cool at the time though ... at least to 10 year old Dubba G anyway.
