Apparently, teachers who are employed in the Houston Independent School District have to attend a yearly "professional development training" conference. This year, they packed them in like sardines.

Could Have Ben an Email

If you've ever been to a conference for work, you know they are completely useless. Really just a chance for the bootlickers to do all that bootlicking that bootlickers like to do. I'm absolutely positive that everything they "learned" at this conference could have been in an email. Or a Zoom meeting at worst.

Just, Why?

So, here are these poor teachers, hundreds of them, who already do an impossible job, which is to teach kids that have been raised by their iPhones, crammed into a tiny little hallway to take part in some bullsh*t that some bureaucrat up top decided they have to do probably to get some sort of bonus or other pats on the back.

I would have found another room, waited for the line to die down, got signed in, and left. But I have Enochlophobia, which refers to a fear of crowds. But it's a healthy fear.  What if a fire broke out?  What if someone runs in with a gun?  Folks, never ever put yourself in a situation like this, nothing is that important.  Are you worried about losing your job?  Show them this video.  If you still lose your job, you're better off finding a new one where they give a flip about your safety as a human being.
