It’s Back To School Time!

I know it was just last week when I blogged about going to a high school reunion, but I found out over the weekend that back to school time is right around the corner!

My niece goes to Loretto, and over the weekend, she told me that she starts school on August 8th!  Yikes!  I had no idea school started so early!  I loved not having to go back to school until after Labor Day, and now kids have to go back to school a month before that?

So it begs the question, well, a couple of questions....

Do you think that school schedules are weird nowadays? 

What are the start dates for school districts in El Paso?  EPISD, YISD, SISD, CISD, and another other ISD's I missed!  What about private schools?  Let us know!

And, finally, I know kids are going to say "no way" to this, but should school be on a year round schedule?
