Beginning at 6 a.m. today, Mesa Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction at Glory Road and Baltimore Drive as work on the streetcar project continues there.

Glory Road is, of course, right by the Don Haskins Center, and the lane reduction in that area is expected to last for the next three weeks. Traffic will be flow on the two inside lanes of Mesa for the next three weeks. Glory Road remains closed to traffic between Oregon Street and Mesa Street.

Baltimore Drive will be closed from Stanton Street to Mesa Street.

Traffic will also be affected for three weeks after this latest lane reduction when the inner lanes of Mesa will be worked on.

If you plan on using Mesa for the next month and a half, you’ll need to deal with increased traffic and slower traffic, so be aware and either use alternate routes or avoid the area altogether.
