The Humane Society of El Paso has many worthy animals waiting to be adopted by their forever home, but this dog has shown she just simply wants to be loved.

A man was walking in Far East El Paso by the Meridian apartments when this sweet, grey pit bull started following him home. His family took the dog in, to try and help her find her home. The dog ended up spending three days with the family, and unfortunately no one called or messaged to claim her. In that time the family seriously considered adopting her, but their complex does not allow this breed of dogs in the facility. The man's wife Vicki said,

As you can tell she's just a happy girl. She's such a sweetheart, is very calm and is great with kids.

The dog was then taken to another family's home, and somehow ended up at the City of El Paso Animal Services. Last Friday was supposed to be the day she was euthanized. Luckily, the Humane Society of El Paso stepped in and saved her from that horrible fate. The Assistant Director Kandolite Flores talked about this dog, and said she is a sweet tempered female who they believe would be wonderful with a family with young kids.

She is now available for adoption at the Humane Society, located at 4991 Fred Wilson in El Paso, TX. You can call them at (915) 532-6971 or go and visit them. They are open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
