Early voting is underway in El Paso, and by all accounts, a lot of people are taking advantage of it. Lines have been long outside early voting locations and previous voting turnout records are being smashed each day. If you plan on waiting until November 6, Election Day, to vote, but you need a ride, there is some good, free, news.

Uber and Lyft say they want to help people get to the polls, so they are giving voters free rides to the polls on November 6. If you don't know which polling place you are supposed to use, Uber, in conjunction with #VoteTogether and Democracy Works, Uber will help you find your polling place on Election Day with the Uber app.

Lyft will also be offering free rides in underserved communities. They are working in partnership with Voto Latino, local Urban League affiliates and the National Federation of the Blind.
