With El Paso starting to see an uptick in COVID-19 cases once again, health officials encourage everyone to take advantage of no-cost tests being offered this week.

The testing is open to any resident of El Paso County, with tests administered at four county sites and three locations inside El Paso city limits. Testing is free and available for anyone 5 years or older with or without symptoms. State testing sites will be operational until September 30.

No appointments are needed. Testing is free and available to anyone with or without COVID-19 symptoms. Tests, which are conducted by the state contractor HONU, collect nasal samples.

• Nations Tobin Recreation Center; 8831 Railroad Dr., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily including weekends
• El Paso Community College Valle Verde Campus, 919 Hunter Dr., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily including weekends
• SISD Student Activities Complex, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., through Friday

State Testing El Paso County

The Drive-thru testing locations posted below will be operational from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the specific dates and locations only, and available on a first come, first serve basis. No appointment necessary, however, once the daily capacity of 500 is met the site will be closed to additional testing.
