Fred Loya Names Charities Selected to Share $50,000 Prize

Fred Loya has revealed the 10 local charities that will be the benefactors of the prize money the family’s annual synchronized Christmas light show won on The Great Christmas Light Fight.

After winning the top prize of $50,000 on the season 2 premiere of the ABC show, the Loyas said they planned to donate the money to several organizations “reflective of the El Paso Community.” Here are the charities chosen to receive $5,000 each:

• Child Crisis Center
• Make A Wish Foundation- North Texas
• Miracle League
• Child Grief Center
• Adopt a Senior
• Rebuilding El Paso
• Villa Maria
• Wounded Warriors- Ft. Bliss
• YMCA
• Annunciation House
