Fort Bliss Coronavirus Cases Now Total 4
There are now four confirmed COVID-19 cases at Fort Bliss.
The Army announced Monday (3/23) a fourth soldier has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Like the previous three, the soldier is from the same in-bound reserve unit out of New York City, which recently reported to Fort Bliss for training.
All four soldiers are in isolation at the army base. The rest of the reserve unit has been under quarantine as a precaution since Friday, when it was confirmed the first soldier from the unit tested positive.
Fort Bliss officials report all cases so far are travel-related and that there is no community spread.
