Former UTEP Baller Briana Green is Now a Harlem Globetrotter
When the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters begin hoopin' on their 2017 World Tour, six new players will be making their debuts, including UTEP alumnus Briana Green.
Green, wearing the #6 jersey in the photo above, played for Coach Keitha Adams from 2008 - 2012. She went on to score 650 career points for the Miners before joining the professional basketball ranks, playing in Spain, Mexico and the Czech Republic.
Because every Globetrotter has a nickname, Green will be known as “Hoops” -- a fitting nickname given her prolific scoring.
Briana's spot on the roster brings the total number of female Globetrotters to four – the highest ever in its history.
The world famous Globetrotters will be bringing their ball handling wizardry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment to the Pan Am Center in Las Cruces on Saturday, January 7, and the Don Haskins Center on Sunday, January 8, 2017.
Tickets can be purchased online, or at the Don Haskins ticket center. Prices start at $20.25 plus taxes and fees.
