Fat and 45 – The ‘Does Size Matter?’ Edition

Over the weekend, I decided I wanted to go buy some capri's for summer.  I was feeling pretty good because my regular clothes have been fitting better, so I walked into the mall feeling pretty confident!  But I soon found out that, as in all things, size really DOES matter......

I wanted to find outfits like this one.  I spent about two hours picking stuff out, trying it on, and then moving onto the next store.  I couldn't find anything that fit!  Even worse, the clothes in every store I went to seemed to be cut differently from the previous store.  I tried on size 10's and 12's, but the 10's in some stores seemed to be size 4's, the 12's in other stores felt like 16's!  I was so frustrated that I gave up and decided not to buy anything.  Then I ran across this article and felt a little better.  Turns out even different stores within the same company have drastically different size variations. 

Well, that explains it.....

NO IT DOESN'T!  As if it isn't hard enough to stay in shape and stay attractive, along comes news that whatever size you THINK you are, you AREN'T!  I mean, we all knew that different designers and stores cut their clothing differently, and junior's sizes are different than old lady sizes, but for gosh sakes!  I just wanted to buy some capri's!  *sigh*

So the question is, WHERE THE HECK CAN I GET SOME CAPRI'S THAT FIT?!  Where did you buy your summer capri's?  Do they fit around a big booty without that huge gap at the waist?  Hellllllllp!  I'm tired of looking at the same capri's I've been wearing for the past four summers!  And I think some new ones would help keep me on track.  Help a sistah out!
