Publicly Embarrassing Your Child as Punishment – Bad Parenting or Good Parenting?

I'm seeing more and more stories like this these days -- parents who come up with public humiliation type punishments for their teenage kids, instead of old standards like grounding them or taking away their cell phones and computers. This dad's creative punishment is the latest to go viral. He caught his 13 year old daughter sneaking in after curfew and made her wear a shirt to school for a week with his picture on it and the words "Try Me!" written below it.
