The El Pasosoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank has added three new Primary Pantry distribution sites for the month of September and has concluded service at two others.

Distribution at Bill Childress Elementary in Vinton has ended. Families in need of food assistance in that rural part of the county can pick up emergency food boxes on Thursdays at Anthony Municipal Park, and Fridays at the Village of Vinton city government office.

Other changes regarding distribution sites recently announced by EPFH include service at Katie’s Pantry in northeast going on hiatus until September 26, and the addition of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in the Upper Valley as a weekly food assistance location.
