El Pasoans struggling to put food on the table are able to count on El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank to help feed their families. But did you know EPFHFB is also there if you face the added challenge of keeping your house pet fed, too?

El Pasoans Fighting Hunger has been teaming up with El Paso Animal Services and Petsmart Charities to offer free monthly pet food assistance.

This month, the organizations will distribute dry dog and cat food on numerous dates at various locations in the city and county. One full-size bag of dog and/or cat food per family will be given out until the supply is gone.

Since the coronavirus pandemic began its stranglehold on our lives and livelihoods in 2020, the El Pasosoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank has been a godsend to those who suffered a financial setback from things like loss of employment, or a reduction in employee hours.

If you or someone you know is having trouble making ends meet, pandemic related or otherwise, emergency food boxes will be distributed at the sites listed above as well.
