I had the pleasure of watching Adam Martinez play the trumpet numerous times during my days at Fabens High School. I even remember calling him trumpet boy through the halls because he was never without it.

As you can tell, he is incredibly talented and used his trumpet skills to create his version of 'Pomp and Circumstance' for the 2020 graduating class.

His verison of Aerosmith's "Dream On" is fantastic. I wish I could have walked across my high school stage to this. I had to deal with some weird Switchfoot song. As more and more gradution ceremonies continue to happen in weird ways, we here at Townsquare Media want to send our congrats to all those students who will be graduating this year.

We know it isn't the ideal way you would want to graduate but you get to see a unique way of people coming together to honor your accomplishment. Plus, I know you want to sweat like crazy while wearing a garabage bag of a gown, but trust me, these new graduating ways will be just a memorable.

I've gone through three gradation ceremonies, including UTEP's cenntenial celebration when they crammed every graduate into Sun Bowl Stadium like a Monster Jam show.

No matter where you gradute, the ultimate celebration comes within yourself. You accomplished something great and it is just the beginning of a whole new chapter in life. Cherish that transitional moment. Conintue to dream on to bigger and better things. Just never forget where you came from because we El Pasoans love to stay connected.
