El Paso Police Cruiser Crashes into Church

On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, a police cruiser jumped the curb and ended up crashing into a church in Central El Paso.

On Tuesday afternoon sometime after 4 p.m. an El Paso police officer driving a cruiser crashed into La Paz Faith Church in central El Paso located at 1201 N. Piedras St.

Details are limited at this time but according to the El Paso Police Department, the officer driving the cruiser avoided contact with another vehicle and instead crashed into La Paz Faith church. Although no one involved in the incident was injured, the driver's airbag did deploy indicating that the crash was moderately severe.
