June Free Movie Saturdays at El Paso International Museum of Art

If you’re looking for a cool place to escape the hot El Paso temperatures this weekend, consider taking in a movie at the International Museum of Art.

Not only is the flick free to see, admission to the museum is free as well. Parking won’t cost you anything either. The only thing you’ll have to pay for is the freshly popped theater popcorn, soft drinks, and snacks.

The movies, all carefully curated favorites and timeless classics, are screened in the beautiful 168 seat auditorium inside the historic Henry Trost building the International Museum of Art calls home.

Each screening is hosted by life long film fan, historian and collector Jay Duncan in association with Sunset Film Society. The International Museum of Art is located at 1211 Montana in the Turney Mansion.

June 10, 2017 – Field of Dreams – 2 p.m.

June 17, 2017 – How the West was Won – 2 p.m.

George Peppard, Debbie Reynolds, Henry Fonda, Gregory Peck, and James Stewart star in this classic Western.

June 24, 2017 – Monsters, Inc. – 2 p.m.

Spend the afternoon with "Sulley" and his one-eyed partner and best friend Mike Wazowski. Featuring the voices of John Goodman and Billy Crystal.
